Textile Hold Down Adhesive
Takter 1
Takter 1 is a new solvent-free and non-toxic aerosol product from Siliconi. It is ideal for environmentally friendly textile printers. While the tack time is longer, it can be reduced by applying a small amount of heat. The adhesive will not transfer onto printed fabric once dry. It is suitable for heavier fabrics due to its high tack and has excellent flash resistance when t-shirt printing on a carousel. The aerosol cans contain 500ml of adhesive. The adhesive can be cleaned from pallets using warm water and washing-up liquid or the AQ 950 general-purpose cleaner.

Takter 1000
Takter 1000 is a traditional solvent adhesive in an aerosol can designed for fabric hold down. It has a faster tack allowing multiple applications without slowing a production run. The adhesive will not transfer onto printed fabric once dry. It is suitable for light to medium fabric weights due to its tack and has good flash resistance when T-shirt printing on a carousel. The aerosol cans contain 600ml of adhesive. The adhesive can be cleaned from pallets using a general-purpose cleaner such as AQ 870 or AQ 950.

Takter 2200
The Takter 2200 adhesive is a water-based adhesive that is economical and can be applied to pallets or boards to secure fabric. Its water content may cause a slower tack-up time which can be reduced by applying heat. The adhesive can also be reactivated with water. It is suitable for brushing, spraying or rolling onto pallets or print tables and resists flash cure.
