This page has products used in the removal of mesh staining. All the products below should be applied to a dry mesh and left for the recommended time before high pressure washing the stains away. Work up from the bottom of the screen with the nozzle. The mesh can be left wet and is ready stage 4.

Aquarius Mesh Cleaner

Aquarius Mesh Cleaner AQ 1008 is a blend of environmentally friendly solvents and an emulsifying agent. They have been formulated to remove ink and stencil residues from the mesh, after the stencil has been removed. You apply the haze remover with a brush to both sides of the re-claimed mesh. This should left for a minimum of 10 minutes or up to 24 hours before high pressure washing off. The mesh cleaner can be left on the screen overnight, without affecting the mesh integrity. It comes as a gel so it won't run off the mesh and attack the mesh adhesive. This solvent is non-hazardous and is not subject to any form of environmental regulation and consequently can be disposed of without restriction.

Haze Remover (Solvent Blend)

Screen Solve Mesh Cleaner GT 1008 is a blend of industrial solvents and an emulsifying agent. They have been formulated to remove ink and stencil residues from the mesh, after the stencil has been removed. You apply the haze remover with a brush to both sides of the re-claimed mesh. This should left for a few minutes for the solvent to dissolve any residues, then brush mesh again. Wash off with a high-pressure washer.

Haze Remover Aggressive (Caustic Paste)

Aquarius Haze Remover AQ1036 is a caustic paste that will remove diazo staining, ink staining and ghost images from the mesh. Due to the hazardous nature of this product suitable protective clothing such as gloves and goggles must be worn when using this stain remover.
