Metallic Inks (Bright)

This gold and Silver is manufactured from pure aluminium pigments. They are very opaque and work equally well on light or dark fabrics. Both these inks can be difficult to cure, This is due to the mirror effect reflecting heat away from the curing ink. See the technical data sheet for work rounds. See our other metallic range below which is much easier to cure and is only slightly less bright.

Metallic Inks (Non Corroding)

These metallic inks are manufactured from very fine coated metal flakes. This range of metallics is much easier to cure and is only fractionally down on brightness. They are very opaque and work equally well on light or dark fabrics. See our technical data sheet to get great result from this ink.

EuroPaque Bases

Neutral Extender Base (PM 8100)

Neutral Extender Base is used to extend the volume of plastisol colours to make them go further when printing onto lighter coloured fabrics. This base has no effect on curing, viscosity or feel on the fabric. Recommended addition is up to 50%.

Soft Hand Base (PM 8003)

Soft Hand Base is used to reduce the inks tack as well as extend the volume. This can make them easier to print through finer meshes and reduce screen pick up. The soft hand base can also be used to make the finished print feel softer and less “plasticky“ when printed through finer meshes. The addition of Soft Hand base will reduce the original inks opacity. Recommended addition is up to 25%.

FlexiScreen Base (FS 1100)

Flexiscreen Base is used to reduce the inks curing temperature and will increase the flexibility on lycra type fabrics. The Flexiscreen base can also be used to make the finished print feel softer when printed through finer meshes. The addition of Flexiscreen base will reduce the original inks opacity. Recommended addition is up to 25%.

Hi Rise Base (PM 6000)

Hi Rise base will give you 3D effects on fabric. Just add the base to standard Europaque colours 5 - 10% (max) and cure through a tunnel drier in the normal manner. All though the colour strength is slightly reduced the opacity of the ink will increase.

Suede Base (PM 7100)

Suede base will give you a soft 3D effect on fabrics. You just add standard Europaque colours to the base and print through either a 77 or 90 mesh, cure through a tunnel drier in the normal manner. When the ink puffs the colour strength is reduced. Recommended addition is up to 75%.
